I drove out to Fort Rock to get a shot of the Milky Way over the rock, but unfortunately a big dark wall of rock doesn't look very good in a photograph. After packing up, I was leaving to drive home when I noticed the old historic village and thought there might be an image there. Initially, the orange street light that cast its glow on the buildings bothered me, but it works well with the teal sky.
