When I first planned on visiting Devil's Tower, I had envision this composition. The rock formation is so unusual, just sticking out the plains with nothing else around. I arrived at night, under a full moon and it looked glorious. The weather was going to turn in the morning and I knew this 10:30PM shot after a long day of travel would be my only chance of capturing it like this.
