I had driven down towards Medford with a certain composition in mind. After wandering the woods for several hours, it just wasn't coming to me. Dejected I started my drive home and after a few miles came across a sign for Rogue River Gorge and it had a camera icon. Sure, why not, I thought to myself, might as well check it out. This scene appeared shortly after parking and my day was rescued. I absolutely love this shot.
