This was the very last image I took during my few days in Badlands National Park and was taken within 15 minutes of me having to leave to go catch my flight home. The scene happened very quickly, but I was locked in and had my camera with the long lens in the passenger set beside me.
I don't see the image as a bison crossing a road, I see the image as the bison taking it's own path and ignoring convention. Popular consensus doesn't make it right.
